I had the good fortune of purchasing a boat from someone who was a member here. I had a little time to get the boat ready and then launch from the club. Finally making my way back with the boat. As far as the club goes. What a lovely place. Very involved in dinghy racing, windsurfing and yacht cruising. Really friendly members, great senior club members and a great atmosphere. It has made such a big impression that although I do not wish to leave my local club I would like to get a second membership at Marconi! Oh and I forgot to mention a fantastic piece of water to go and sail in! Osea Island, and Radio Caroline either side of you. A very nice place to be! Thanks for the hospitality guys!

Love It. Beautiful scenery, great sense of community, great sailing. My absolutely favourite place. If you want to have a nice day, look no further. I am only giving it 5 Stars as I cannot give Five Million.

Came to the open day in 2017 and all our family came off the boats with enormous grins. Since joining, we have made great use of the sail training days and club boats (all without extra charge!) to gain confidence and have fun at this friendly, well equipped and fantastically situated club.

Marconi Club is a great club at all levels. Windsurfing to Dinghy and cat sailing available at all states of the tide. Deep water and drying moorings for the cruisers. RYA training for Dinghy and powered craft. Very popular Cadet week. Excellent club facilities with good showers. Without doubt the finest club on the East Coast. My only regret is that I have moved away to the Midlands. Go to the Open Day, you’ll love it.

A fantastic family club open from March to October. With plenty of water at all states of tide. Learning to sail here is easy for adults and children alike. A newly revamped clubhouse for a brilliant social life throughout the season. Opportunities for members to bring your tent or caravan and experience our fantastic Cadet week which allows adults and children alike to improve their sailing abilities in a range of different boats. Come along for a taster session at the Marconi Sailing club open day, on Saturday 25th May from Midday.

A truly awesome sailing club, with a friendly atmosphere, great for youngsters and adult beginners as well as those who are keen for a bit of racing or cruising. Superb facilitates and on site catering keep life simple for a day down there. Club dinghies and cruisers, rowing skiffs, kayaks, stand up paddle boards and windsurfers all available for members to use. Camping in the summer months really brings a family vibe to events too, plus those sunsets over Osea Island!

Simply one of the friendliest, best equipped sailing clubs on the east coast of the UK with an "open to all" attitude whether you are a windsurfer, catamaran, dinghy or cruiser sailor: family or solo sailor. The estuary here has plenty of water and makes for great sailing. Well worth checking this club out if you are looking for a vibrant sailing community to be apart of on and off the water.

Outstanding facilities, friendliest sailing club on the East Coast. You can sail 24x7 at Marconi ie at all states of the tide and the club is very welcoming. Kids can get training and learn to sail and you can sail dinghies, windsurfers, catamarans or yachts - whatever you prefer. Good bar and excellent social events too.
